Comments on Dr. Jutsum's Recordings from around the
world
|
| I
purchased your Sweet Hour Of Prayer CD for myself and for
each of my brothers and sisters. I gave my sister, Mary Beth,
hers on a Tues. night. Wed. morning she emailed me saying
that she really enjoyed the CD. When Holy, Holy, Holy played,
her two year old son, Derek said, "we sing that at church".
When the Jesus Loves Me medley came on, he sang, "the
Bible tells me so". Then he said over and over, "I
learned that at church."
I
thought you'd be encouraged to know that your music and
message reaches young and old with the love of Jesus. Music
touches hearts in a way that's even deeper than words at
times and who knows how/when the words and music learned
in early childhood will come back to mind and bring truth,
healing and comfort in a persons life.
I
too enjoy the CD. The music is so beautiful and familiar,
like a comforting friend. It's what I have in the CD player
as I go to sleep at night-a wonderful way to focus my attention
back to God at the end of a hectic day.
Thank
you for your obedience in using your gifts to serve so many.
A
sister in Christ (from Omaha),

"What
a blessing for all of us of every age! The music and the message
came right from the heart of Ross and fed our hearts and souls
full. My people are still talking about it and sharing the
good news because of it. What a wonderful concert of praise
heart-warming, inspirational, God-honoring worship
that stirred the soul and raised the spirits of every person
in attendance. From young to old and every musical taste,
our people left with grateful and full hearts.
How can you take children from age three to seniors well into
their 80's and ages in between with varied musical tastes
and appreciations and gather them together and have them leave
praising God and inspired? Have Ross do the concert, that's
how! What a blessed night of praise we shared. Ross is anointed."

Your
guidance of our worship service allowed all of us to truly
drop our worldly baggage at the door and truly focus on our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I've been thanking God ever
since that service for the guidance He provided you through
the Holy Spirit for such a deeply inspiring opportunity to
praise and worship Him. Thank you for coming and you can be
assured that State of the Heart Ministries will be known over
Western New York in very short time. Your tapes and CDs are
already being shared.
In my opinion, you have been gifted and called to a ministry
that God has tremendously prepared you for, while provided
the means for promoting real unity and fulfilling His Great
Commission coincidentally. What a wonderful God we have.

G'day!
I just wanted to write you a brief note and again express
our thanks to you for visiting Moline Gospel Temple. My wife
and I (and many others I talked to) were so blessed by your
visit. I especially liked the metaphor you used with the variations
on "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and how that
relates to the varieties of worship styles the members of
the Body of Christ enjoy. Very timely, I might add.

Thank
you leading us in worship and praise! Your gift of music,
humble spirit, and obvious love for the Lord were a blessing.
We gave you a workout with three services, but you handled
it beautifully. You were able to bridge the contemporary with
the traditional and both groups enjoyed the worship.

Church, Covina, CA, September 2, 2001 |

We
met Ross Jutsum, of State of the Heart Ministry, about
2 years ago and were immediately impressed with his spirit.
Upon hearing a workshop he presented, we felt a heart-warming
love and appreciation to God and all He has done for Ross.
Following his recent worship concert, I just came from the
hospital visiting an elderly lady who, after 3 weeks, was
talking about how she enjoyed Ross service. The children
still talk of him as he had them involved in the service in
a rhythm band. He touches all ages with his testimony, and
I believe also touches the heart of God by the genuine love
for his Savior.

From
a Pastor in Alabama:
For the first time, a collection of music has been amassed
that real people can actually sing with! The arrangements
are crisp, yet light. The melodies are easy to follow and
yet more accomplished singers can easily harmonize to the
supporting orchestration. A variety of introductions is used
to insure that there is nothing bland or boring about the
collection as a whole. Even within songs, the arrangements
are varied and the subtle key changes add a lively dimension.
The collection is perfect for those who want to share fellowship
with a small group, in-home Bible Study, or just sing through
chores around the house alone. My congregation has used them
for several services when the piano player was absent. Thanks
for this work of love! I know that it was both hard work AND
enjoyable. The end result is great! |

From
a Pastor in Massachusetts:
I led songs using your tapes in the Springfield, MA, congregation
where we haven't had a piano player for almost a year. The
music was received with great enthusiasm. It was the BEST
worship service we have ever had. They just sang their hearts
out!! Your CDs are truly a life-saver for our fellowship.
Thanks so much. |

From
a Family in Iowa:
Our church area here in Iowa is quite small and we rarely
have live accompaniment. Your recent release of the CDs is
indeed an answer to prayer and such a wonderful blessing!!
My husband is the worship leader for next week and he is almost
literally bouncing off the walls in excitement over the abundance
of the old and new, traditional and contemporary music available
through this new collection. |

From
a Pastor in Florida:
I just had to tell you how I felt about your CD's. Tonight
I've run through the first 23 songs of the first CD while
doing some work here on a Sunday evening. Truly amazing. The
variety of instrumental sounds you use is a pure joy. With
the bass turned up, the organ accompaniment vibrates the walls.
I can't wait to share this with the congregation! I hope your
initial CD run has been successful. What a treasure! |

From
a Pastor in South Carolina:
My wife and I wanted to thank you for your CDs. We are playing
them now as background to sermon preparation and appreciate
the quality and selections. My heart is calmed by what you
have put together. We will be implementing them into services
weekly to set a tone that I feel most appreciate and need. |

From
a husband and wife Worship Team in Cyberspace:
Hi Dr. Jutsum. We bought your CD's at the Myrtle beach convention
for use at services. They are awesome. We used them this past
week for worship service with great success! |
|
|
From
a Pastor in Pennsylvania:
The CD's are GREAT, and helped out in a BIG way. During the
Celebration of the Kingdom, the worship service had a mixture
of live piano, CD's, and video with words on Saturday. But
the pianist became ill Saturday evening, so I relied solely
on your CD's. They were PERFECT -- just what we needed! |

From
a Worship Leader in Minnesota:
Our family is enjoying the 8 set CD's which we recently received.
As of yet I have been unable to hear enough of them! I have
just returned home from surgery and the music has been so
inspiring and uplifting that my recovery will be greatly improved
by listening and singing to the CDs. |

|
From
a Post Office Supervisor in East Texas:
Thank you so much for the CD's. I have listened to them over
the past weekend, both in my car and in the house. The music
is exceptional and has been such a blessing. May the Lord
continue to pour his blessings upon you as you endeavor to
enhance unity in the Body of Christ. |

From
a Worship Leader in Kentucky:
We just received your "Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs".
What a wonderful blessing for our church area. We are truly
glad God led you to compile and make available to us these
CDs. Keep up the good work. Have you thought of doing a special
Christmas CD? |

From
a Minister in Australia:
Thanks for the two sets of CDs you sent -- they arrived in
good condition. I like them so much, that I want to order
one further set, please. |
|
|
From
a Pastor in Mauritius:
We wish to inform you that we have received the CD by post
today. Many thanks for this wonderful music. It will be very
helpful for our small Church in Mauritius. |
|
|
From
a Pastor in Louisiana:
I will continue to let my colleagues know about "Psalms,
Hymns and Spiritual Songs". Thank you for helping to
provide a more "worship friendly" atmosphere among
the smaller fellowships. Your work truly is a wonderful ministry
and I commend you for it. |

From
a Worship Leader in Canada:
Let me thank you profusely for your input and participation
last weekend. For me, and I suspect, for many others, it was
a "life-changing" event which I wont soon
forget. It is a huge point of encouragement to me to see someone
like yourself be moved by the Spirit to respond so positively
to all the changes we have experienced in our fellowship.
You have helped me learn to sing "love songs" to
my Lord and what a joy it is! |
